ARA-X Mission Agreement
ARA-X Mission Agreement
Welcome, Explorer!
Every great adventure starts with a mission briefing.
By selecting "I Agree" and beginning this mission, you confirm that you understand and accept these Terms of Adventure.
Don't worry — this is not a long legal document designed to hide behind complicated wording. These terms exist to keep the experience fair, safe, and enjoyable for every explorer who takes part.
1. What is ARA-X?
ARA-X is an immersive adventure experience combining storytelling, exploration, puzzles, challenges, and local discovery.
It is designed for everyday explorers — friends, families, visitors, schools, teams, corporate groups, and anyone looking for a fun and memorable experience.
While we use adventure, expedition, and mission themes, ARA-X is not a military operation, survival exercise, extreme expedition, professional navigation event, or endurance challenge.
You do not need special skills, athletic ability, technical knowledge, or previous adventure experience.
You simply need:
- curiosity
- teamwork
- common sense
- a willingness to explore
- and a sense of fun
2. Mission Expectations
ARA-X missions are designed to challenge your thinking, teamwork, and creativity while remaining accessible to everyday people.
Challenges may involve:
- solving puzzles
- finding locations
- observing your surroundings
- completing activities
- working as a team
- and discovering stories along the way
Some clues may require patience, creativity, and thinking differently. Not every challenge will be solved instantly — that is part of the adventure.
ARA-X does not guarantee:
- a specific completion time
- a particular difficulty level
- that every participant will solve every puzzle without assistance
- that every participant will finish the mission
- or that every location or challenge will be suitable for every individual
The purpose of ARA-X is the experience itself — the teamwork, discovery, laughter, and memories created along the way.
3. Getting Around
Most ARA-X missions involve travelling between multiple locations.
Participants are responsible for arranging their own transport unless specifically stated otherwise.
A vehicle may be required to complete some missions efficiently.
Participants are responsible for:
- their own transport
- fuel and travel costs
- parking fees where applicable
- following road rules
- and allowing enough time to complete the mission safely
ARA-X is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, transport issues, road conditions, personal travel decisions, or failure to allow sufficient time.
4. Weather and Mission Changes
ARA-X missions may take place outdoors and are affected by the environment.
Weather, natural conditions, public events, location availability, or circumstances outside our control may require changes to a mission.
ARA-X reserves the right to:
- modify challenges
- replace locations
- adjust mission instructions
- or make reasonable changes necessary to maintain safety and quality of experience
Where possible, we will provide alternative challenges or solutions to ensure explorers can continue their adventure.
5. Play Fair — Keep the Magic Alive
The mission experience is built around discovery.
To protect the adventure for future explorers, please do not:
- share answers or solutions publicly
- upload clue screenshots showing answers
- publish walkthroughs or spoilers
- reproduce or copy mission content
- recreate the experience for commercial purposes
- or distribute access to people who have not purchased the mission
Sharing your adventure is encouraged.
Share:
✓ your team photos
✓ your celebrations
✓ your funny moments
✓ your favourite discoveries
Please keep:
✗ answers
✗ clues
✗ solutions
✗ mission secrets
hidden for future explorers.
6. Respect the Locations
ARA-X missions may include local businesses, public areas, cultural sites, and community spaces.
You are a guest in these locations.
Please:
- respect property and people
- follow instructions from staff
- stay within permitted areas
- avoid disrupting others
- leave places as you found them
7. Safety First
ARA-X is designed to be fun — not dangerous.
Participants must:
- obey all laws
- cross roads safely
- respect warnings and restricted areas
- avoid climbing, entering unsafe areas, or taking unnecessary risks
- make sensible decisions based on conditions
No clue, challenge, or shortcut is worth risking your safety.
Participants remain responsible for their own decisions and actions throughout the mission.
8. Participants Under 18
Participants under 18 must have appropriate adult supervision unless specifically approved otherwise.
Parents, guardians, teachers, organisers, or group leaders remain responsible for the safety, behaviour, and supervision of minors participating in the mission.
9. Refunds and Cancellations
We want every explorer to have an amazing experience.
If something goes wrong, please contact us and we will work with you to find a fair solution.
Refunds may be considered where:
- the mission cannot be delivered due to a significant issue on our side
- the experience cannot proceed due to circumstances within our responsibility
- or a technical failure prevents access to the purchased experience
Refunds are generally not provided where:
- participants change their mind after starting the mission
- participants are unable to solve challenges
- participants run out of time
- participants choose not to continue
- transport arrangements are unsuitable
- weather conditions affect personal decisions to participate
- participants do not follow instructions
- or participants choose not to complete the experience
Each situation will be reviewed fairly and reasonably.
10. Mission Results and Completion
ARA-X missions may involve completion times, rankings, scores, achievements, or competition elements.
Participants understand that outcomes may be influenced by:
- teamwork
- decision-making
- travel choices
- puzzle-solving ability
- external conditions
- and circumstances outside ARA-X's control
ARA-X does not guarantee specific rankings, winning outcomes, or completion times.
11. Technology and Access
ARA-X uses technology to deliver parts of the mission experience.
Occasionally, technology may experience unexpected issues.
If you experience a problem:
- contact us
- provide details of the issue
- and allow us the opportunity to assist
Technical issues do not permit copying, extracting, reverse engineering, or unauthorised access to the mission.
12. Your Mission Access
Your booking provides access for your registered team only.
Please do not:
- share login details
- duplicate access
- distribute mission content
- or allow unpaid participants to access the experience
Every explorer deserves their own mission.
13. Intellectual Property
The ARA-X experience, including:
- mission stories
- clues
- puzzles
- artwork
- graphics
- software
- branding
- scoring systems
- challenge designs
- and written content
are owned by ARA-X or used under licence.
They are provided for personal enjoyment only and may not be copied, reproduced, modified, or used to create competing experiences without written permission.
